Training Specialist Senior - OCONUS

VNE, LLC is looking for 4 TS/SCI Cleared Training Specialist Senior - OCONUS

Minimum Qualifications:
TS/SCI level clearance required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree. Engineering or Computer Science (preferred)

Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in 1) demonstrating the developing tools, testbed, framework and software systems, to provide operational training and to interact with the users to gain understanding of their needs from obtaining the survey and feedbacks for the ongoing software development; 2) supporting major exercises, experimentation, capability demonstrations to key users and decision makers for providing operational support requirements in areas of wartime and hazardous natures; 3) performing the utility assessments for evaluating products and surveying the existing tools, applications and emerging technologies to propose candidates for the designated demonstration for selection consideration by Government; and 4) interacting with potential users to analyze and resolve problems, to develop and specify requirements for the modification and enhancement of the existing software system.

Experience Substitution: Seven (7) years of training experience in military systems or military service (E8 or higher) may be considered as military training experience. Eight (8) years of additional experience may be substituted for the BS degree.


Additional Quals: While headquartered at APG, candidate must be willing to travel OCONUS. Anticipate travel to the following locations in support of this TO: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD; OCONUS locations include: Vicenza, Italy, Grafenwoehr, Germany, Stuttgart, Germany, and Kuwait as needed from initiation of and availability of funding from the designated efforts.

Essential Duties of the Job:

Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
