ECC is seeking a Security Guard for a project in Italy. The Cleared American Guard (CAG) will perform access control functions and security surveillance throughout the construction or project period, which is expected to be approximately 6 months. Position is located in Italy.
Accountabilities:
Onsite guard protection to ensure site access control through Access Control Facility (ACF) for all persons, packages, vehicles, supplies and materials coming onto the construction site or into the secure areas are inspected and acceptable
Denying introduction of prohibited persons or materials such as explosives,
weapons, electronic devices, or other items not approved.
Report any suspicious persons, materials, incidents or activities
Surveil the perimeter and internal secure areas through the use of closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems and other
intrusion detection systems (IDS)
Rove the construction site after-hours, per the Site Security Manager orders
In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
Requirements:
Must be U.S. Citizen as a US Government Secret Clearance is required
Must have, at a minimum, a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Successful completion of CAG/CST SE-640 or DOD Equivalent training
Experience as a Military Police Officer or Marine Security Guard or as a security guard whose duties included the use of alarm systems, metal detectors, x-ray devices and closed-circuit television (Honorable discharge is required if applicable)
Must be able to read and speak English and able to write legibly
Must be able to live and work at project site located outside of the US
