SOC is looking for a Deputy Operations Manager – Explosive Detection Canine Services (DOMEDC) to fulfill our WPS mission. You must be able to perform, have or meet the following.
Assists the OM in all aspects of planning, scheduling, organizing, managing, and assessing performance of detection canine (K9) support under the contract.
Ensures all necessary detection canine support is planned and provided.
Must be a US citizen.
US Passport and US State Driver's License required.
Must possess either:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of experience supervising working canine teams.
An Associate’s degree from an accredited institution and five (5) years of experience supervising working canine teams.
Ten (10) years of experience supervising working canine (K9) teams, with a minimum of three (3) of those years including project management experience.
Upon bio approval, and before beginning work on the contract, the DOMEDC shall:
Attend and successfully complete the NPSS training course
Attend and successfully complete the supervisory training course
Qualify with the Glock-19 and M4, re-qualifying as required by the task order.
Be familiar with any/all weapons carried on task order aircraft.
Complete the WPS Physical Readiness Test at the 50% performance level, and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service on the task order.
Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance as identified in the task order.
Possess no impediments to traveling overseas to and within countries that are considered dangerous or unhealthy in general, or to the country or countries assigned in the applicable task order in specific.
