Role Requirements

Essential
Have a minimum of 5 years previous military experience including at least one operational tour.
2 years previous experience of industrial security in the oil and gas or power generation sector in a leadership role.
Ability to assist in the implementation and delivery of risk management and security management programs.
Previous experience in a similar hostile environment such as Libya, Iraq or Afghanistan.
Proficient in MS word package, outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must have a good understanding of Health and Safety at work procedures; making sure the HSE manager and project manager are informed of all issues in a timely manner.
Understand the complexity of local stakeholders and their position in the commercial and operational environment.

Services

Services provided by the Contractor shall be those typically expected for someone in the position and include, but not be limited to the provision of armed mobile protection services to ensure the safety and security of all client staff and other personnel who come under duty of care of relevant client entity. Services the Contractor can expect to carry out, would include:
Assist in the conduct of security site assessments for client project sites and various other sites as requested and directed.
Manage the project armed mobile and static security profiles inclusive of a TCN guard-force and Ex Pat Team Leaders.
Plan and manage routine journey management requests, workforce security briefs and crisis response.
Assist in the drafting of project security plans in conjunction with client, the Project Manager and regional management.
Act as an advisor on all aspects of security and provide expert input on the security aspect of any new developments to operations.
Implement and review existing security programs, policies, and procedures
Develop an audit program for the review of physical, technical, and operational security controls at all facilities and locations.
Analyse the level of training required for expatriate, TCN and local employees.
Advice at an operational level on implementing the ‘Voluntary Principles of Security’ and other human rights instruments.
Provide advice to management on potential requirements for specific local risk assessments.
Maintain and rehearse contingency plans, including both political and medical evacuation plans.
