Manager Partner, Crisis and Security Consulting – Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean

Job purpose
We seek a highly motivated, detail-oriented and business-minded professional with creativity, initiative, teamwork and project management skills to help drive our crisis and resilience consulting practice inclusive of crisis management, business continuity, enterprise risk management, supply chain risk management, emergency response, and the range of various impact-reduction consultancy engagements.

The role of Consultant within the security and risk consultancy practice is that of a fee-earning consultant who will be expected to market, sell and deliver end-to-end security risk management and related strategic security consulting to our Clients.

Tasks and responsibilities
Work with team members on crisis and resilience consulting engagements of diverse scope and complexity consistent with industry best practice and drawing on personal experiences, specifically: Assess, design, implement and security consultancy solutions for Clients in the region.
Develop, design and deliver scenario-based exercises for client training and testing.
Identify prospects for future business, including, but not limited to, conducting client meetings, scoping, and writing proposals.
End-to-end project management of client engagements, including being the primary contact to the client 
Participate in thought leadership / white papers on topics that are relevant to our clients’ operating environments and risk profiles 
Collaborate across Control Risks to help us better solve complicated client problems.

Knowledge and experience

Essential
5 to 7 years of work experience. 
Excellent client relationship skills with a track record of delivering success in a high-performing management consulting environment.
Significant experience in security risk consultancy or similar fields.
Experience in Client presentations and training delivery solutions.
Significant experience in the Mexico security market.

Preferred
Experience delivering security (physical or cyber) consulting engagements.
Experience in consulting on gender violence issues in Mexico.
Experience in multiple client industries.

Qualifications and Specialist Skills
Bachelor’s degree 
Ability to travel 30-60% of the time and on short notice.
Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
Exceptional written and interpersonal communications skills.
The ability to multi-task and balance competing requirements, including client facing, business development related, and internal matters.
Creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
Committed, enthusiastic and with a “can do” approach.
Confident, solution oriented and with a positive attitude .
A high level of integrity, loyalty and discretion. 
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
A large degree of flexibility with regard to work schedule and peaks in work intensity.
