DHL Express has an opening for a Security & Fleet Manager. The main purpose of this role is to participate in design and ensure implementation of security and fleet strategy so as to maximize the security of employees, customer shipments and company assets, and also to provide transportation of materials or products ensuring on-time physical delivery of goods to the customer and ensure guaranteed minimum delivery times in line with business strategy and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies.
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
Support in designing and ensure consistent implementation of frameworks, programs and standards for security and fleet.
Develop and ensure deployment of security procedures/ programs, including conducting investigations, maintaining facility and office physical security, automated security systems and employee access rights to the facilities.
Draft plans, organize and control scheduling and forecasting of traffic volumes for transportation and delivery
Conduct inspections of grounds/ organization’s facilities and fleet to ensure compliance to security & safety regulations
Share knowledge and train on safety protocols, and ensure audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to security
Study issues, determine opportunities and introduce best practices for security excellence focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
Act as a liaison with local law enforcement officials when required.
QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Education Level
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
Experience Level
Excellent knowledge and experience in computer systems (experienced user of MS Office tools)
Fluent English and Arabic languages
Ability to build relationships internally and externally
Analytical ability.
