Reports to the weapons program officer for all work-related technical activities. Actively support and uphold the Company's stated vision, mission and values.
Essential Functions
Maintains open communications with program Armory personnel for all work-related technical activities
Repairs and maintains all task order weapons
Responsible for the installation of special technical equipment for weapons, including, but not limited to:
1. USG-provided optical devices
2. Flashlights
3. Grenade launchers
4. Night vision equipment
5. Laser sights
Job Requirements
Must be a US citizen
Level three (3) English language proficiency
Must possess valid certifications from the manufacturer or other source of instruction approved by the weapons program officer on all weapons identified in the task order
Must possess a minimum of four (4) years of military (MOS 2111, 45 Bravo, or equivalent) or law enforcement armorer experience
A minimum of one (1) year of this experience must have been earned overseas
Maintains the following armorer ceritifications:
M240/M249 (FN)
Glock 19 (Glock)
M203 (Colt)
M16/AR15 (Colt)
SR25 (Knight's Armament)
Remington 870
Remington 700
In the case of specific human intelligence threat Posts, the person must meet the minimum requirements as identified in the task order
Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age at the time of hiring
Must have a valid US Passport
Must have a current US driver's license
Must be able to pass a physical fitness agility test and maintain that fitness level for the duration of his/her service on the task order
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening; position is also subject to random drug screening throughout the course of employment
If prior US Military, must have an honorable discharge
Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation and possess the criteria to be awarded and maintain the necessary US-issued security clearance
Must be able to pass a medical physical approving candidate for overseas work
Ability to travel to, and/or work in, an austere, hostile, or remote location.
Attend and successfully complete the NPSS training course
Qualify with the Glock-19 and M4, re-qualifying as required by the task order.
Attend and successfully complete armorer in-brief and orientation
Must possess the ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to fifty (50) pounds
