Job Description:
The Program Manager will serve the Operations andMaintenance (O&M) Plus task order in support of the U.S. Department ofState (DOS). The Program Manager shall have the authority to commit theContractor’s financial resources, and act as the single point of contact withthe USG, as required to meet the overall requirements of the O&M Plus taskorder. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the natureand level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
Duties
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace andensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Comply with all Environmental & Safety andQuality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials tothese divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
Responsible for managing, monitoring andtracking O&M services.
Acts as the Contractor’s representative ensuringthat all task order requirements are met.
Responsible for allocating and managing staffresources according to changing needs
Identify problem areas and respond to missionrequirements to perform task order requirements.
Plan and manage projects.
Control resources; monitor staff proficiency andqualifications; monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinatethe flow of information to and from O&M staff and USG representatives.
Resolve O&M issues.
Required
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level: Fifteenyears O&M support services and/or facilities management experience with aminimum of five years’ experience in providing such services to largefacilities or operations.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering,Construction, Facilities, Contracts or related field.
Licenses and Certifications
Valid driver’s license from home of record.
International Facility Management Association(IFMA) certification as a Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Building Ownersand Managers Institute (BOMI) Facilities Management Certification (FMC) orAssociation for Facilities Engineering (AFE) certification as a CertifiedProfessional Maintenance Manager (CPMM).
Security Vetting
Already possess a U.S. Government (USG) issuedTop Secret security clearance or be able obtain a favorable USG Top Secretclearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintaineligibility at the required clearance level for the duration of the task order.
Language Skills
Satisfactory English proficiency to meet jobrequirement.
Desired
Relevant overseas facilities managementexperience.
Previous international experience and previouswork experience in harsh environmental conditions.
Experience working with Contractor.
