Site Manager (OCONUS) - Iraq

SOSi is seeking a Site Manager to support a large Base Operations Support (BOS) program providing logistics and life support services to our U.S. government customer in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have experience working on other large BOS and life support programs in contingency environments.

Responsibilities

Responsible for and manages all daily requirements at a specific Site location.
Serves as the main Point of Contact (POC) to the Government at the Site for all Site life support and logistics management service requirements.
Responsible for all Site employees and Sub-Contractors working for the site.
Reports to the Program Manager and completes all required reports and documentation.
Responsible for accountability, safety, and security of all Site equipment and personnel.
Performs other duties as required by the Program Management.

Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's Degree in a similar profession is preferred, however, verifiable relevant experience managing similar tasks will be considered in lieu of a four year degree.
10 years of experience in related life support services and/or logistics management, with a minimum of 5 years experience in providing such services to large facilities or operations overseas in a contingency environment.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks independently
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and collaboration in diverse environments.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
Excellent demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills.
Excellent demonstrated critical thinking skills.
Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the U.S. Government Contracting industry.
Demonstrated experience supporting large life support services programs in a contingency environment
Fluency in a foreign language is desired, but not required.

Working Conditions
Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable or hazardous at times.
Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
Requires periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
