The purpose of the role of the Security Operations manager is to plan and execute on the Security Plan
Main responsibilities of the role include:
Prepare a detailed plan based on Concept of Operations, in consultation with the Director
Security Operations and relevant stakeholders
Support the Director
Security Operations in defining the short term and long-term goals and objectives
Oversee and Manage Security Planning and Delivery for the Security Operations Screening
Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures
Controlling budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
Develop detailed plans for one of the Screening Area to cover all aspects of the security arrangements as directed including; scenario, contingency, Incident Management and emergency evacuation, and others
Lead and deliver on Plans ensuring effective execution, working closely with Workforce, Machinery and Logistics
Monitor and manage timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all milestones are identified and met
Oversee training requirements for staff involved in Screening, ensuring appropriate personnel are trained and briefed as appropriate
Set objectives and evaluate performance of individual direct reports and actively manage key personnel issues
Requirements
· Proven experience as security manager or similar position
· Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
· Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
· Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
· Working knowledge of MS Office
· Bachelor degree in management or similar study
