Our Client is seeking a highly skilled leader to be a Senior Logistic Trainer that provide logistics training to the CAR FACA at the Camp Kassai military training facility in Bangui, CAR including: training and mentoring FACA in operations and maintenance (O&M); mentoring O&M personnel at FACA's Camp Kassai facilities and Military Chief of Staff (CEMA) headquarters at Camp De Roux (2locations); driver and mechanics training; quartermaster training; small arms, ammunition, and stockpile management training; mentoring of training center staff and operations personnel.
Primary responsibilities include:-
Shall bear ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all work required under a task order is performed satisfactorily.
Shall serve as the U.S. government's primary in-country point of contact for all technical matters pertaining to a task order.
Serves as leader for all staff on a task order, and mentors employees, identifies possible problem areas, priorities and deadlines.
Assures timely delivery of quality work products and services associated with accounting and financial systems, budget control, and financial management functions.
Serves as coach, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members.
Reports to the AF/RSA Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and AF/RSA program office staff and provides updates on project activities, and is responsible for compiling data deliverables for submission to the appropriate U.S. government entities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Five (5) years' experience working in Africa or other post conflict countries (Africa preferred)
Ten (10) years' experience working military logistics
Two (2) years' experience working military logistics at the Brigade staff level (or equivalent) and above
Two (2) years' experience developing and delivering training modules to partner nations
Fluent French and English speaker
English and French fluency shall be to DLPT 3/3/3 or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to modify U.S. systems and procedures to create SOPs that are sustainable in a third world environment
Demonstrated experience working logistical systems in a deployed environment
Demonstrated prior professional experience requiring excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated experience in relationship management without customer complaints
Experience working with Foreign military (preferably in Africa)
Experience managing or executing complex logistics support tasks preferred
