You would be based in Erbil.
Responsibilities:
You support the Field Coordinators and the Country Director in the security management and the definition of the humanitarian access strategy, and streamline security in all aspects of ACF programs in Iraq.
More precisely you :
• Design the Humanitarian Access strategy
• Provide technical support to the bases (FCs and Liaision & Security Officers)
• Awereness and training
Profile:
You are proficient in evaluating the risks in field missions and you have a confirmed experience in setting up and developing security management tools, procedures and rules, in conducting training on security environment.
You have experience of incident reporting, incident mapping, compilation of security reports and assessments.
Previous experiences in security management in volatile environments mandatory.
Previous experience as Field Coordinator highly appreciated.
You have strong humanitarian values including firm understanding of ‘Do No Harm’ approach and humanitarian principles.
You have strong computer literacy, including Excel skills (database, datas analysis etc)
Condition Of Employment:
Contract: 12 months fixed term contract under French legislation
Compensation and benefits :
• Monthly gross salary 2940 to 3750 € upon experience
• Per diem and living allowance: 454 € (cf eurocost) net, field paid.
• +150€ as country allowance
• + 16% of monthly gross. For non-French citizen for retrocession of retirement and unemployment insurance.
• Family posting
Medical coverage: 100% coverage of medical expenses + repatriation insurance.
Leaves and RnR:
• 25 days of paid leaves per year.
• + 20 RnR per year.
• Break allowance at each RnR period
• Support for transport tickets to the reference recovery area (Turkey)
Training :
• 2/3 days training on finance tools before departure
• Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge.
• Technical trainings at HQ or regional level (averagely 1 per year).
• Intermission Workshop once a year.
• Participation to external trainings costs upon eligibility of the request.
