Job Description:
The Defense Group at Leidos has a contingent opening for a Logistician to work in Iraq. This role is in support of the Integrated Base Defense Contract Sustainment Support warehouse operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Daily duties include logistical support of all applicable logistics operations which include but not limited to logistical support of the associated equipment, parts, and supplies associated with the IBD systems.
Responsible for the training of junior logistics personnel.
Develops and implements logistics program activities including ILS, technical documentation, RAM, provisioning, etc.; coordinates efforts of subcontractors and field service personnel; resolves logistics problems; and compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistic activities.
Basic Qualifications
Active Secret security clearance required.
AA/AS degree and 3-5+ years of relevant technical experience. Six total years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.
Experience related to logistics support of equipment, repair parts, consumables and supplies typically performed in a warehouse setting.
Experience in managing warehouse distribution operations, experience with Army ERP systems to include LMP, COLTS, DPAS, AESIP, RAID CLS, and PBUSE.
Experience in compliance with Federal, State, and DOD local warehousing, material handling, inventory and shipping requirements.
Must be able to work in Kuwait for the duration of the contract effort supporting six days a week at 8 hours per day with flexibility to work overtime in austere environments.
Demonstrated leadership and management experience with HMDS related efforts or similar efforts.
Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, packaging, and transportation a must.
Experience in compliance with federal, state, DOD and local warehousing, material handling and packaging requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant and recent logistical experience of the IBD specific systems or similar military equipment.
IBD system specific training a plus.
