We are currently accepting applications for a motivated, self-directed Construction Security Manager to work onsite in Milano, Italy.

The Construction Security Manager shall be responsible for ensuring Contractor compliance along with all site security requirements in regards to Construction Security, Secure Shipment, NISPOM Requirements, and Temporary Security Facilities and Controls.

What You'll Do:
The Construction Security Manager shall be responsible for ensuring Contractor compliance with site security requirements contained in the Division 1 Sections 013550 Construction Security, 013555 Secure Shipment and 015015 Temporary Security Facilities and Controls, as well as Contract Section H. Receive, sort, and forward incoming U.S. and interoffice mail to appropriate individual / department in a timely manner.
The Construction Security Manager is also responsible for ensuring the Contractor personnel on site are adhering to the personnel requirements in Contract Section H and the requisite reporting is provided to the corporate Facility Security Officer, OS/IS/IND and the OBO Site Security Manager as indicated by the contract.
Develop and implement security policies, protocols and procedures
Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
Recruit, train and supervise security officers and guards
Attend meetings with other managers to determine operational needs
Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
Review reports on incidents and breaches
Investigate and resolve issues
Create reports for management on security status
Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each previously stated duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and ability necessary to succeed in this role.


Education: High School Diploma is required.
Experience: At least five (5) years of experience managing information and personnel security issues at either domestic or overseas sites. Experience working on US Government projects valued up to $150M. Working knowledge of the application of the 080 Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities. Certified Facility Security Officer (NISPOM) required.
Skills: Ability to deal with customers/clients in a professional capacity. Excellent communication and analytical skills, be able to multi-task, ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and deal effectively with varying workload requirements. Ability to obtain security clearance is required.
Technology: Candidate should be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Training will be provided on company standards.
