Biometrics Training Instructor and Examiner (OCONUS)

Overview
Integral Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and biometrics savvy Training Instructor with a Biometrics Examiner and/or Collection Kit background to join our Afghanistan Automated Biometric Identification System (AABIS) and Iraq Automated Biometric Identification System (IABIS) program in Afghanistan and Iraq. DoD Afghanistan and Iraq Automated Biometric Identification System (AABIS/IABIS) is a five-year contract.

Responsibilities

Training and Instruction candidate will maintain responsibility for training multinational personnel on; the examination of tenprints, facial, and iris biometrics and/or on the use of a biometrics collection kit used in the field using the latest technologies to collect palmprints, tenprints, facial, and iris images.


Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct comparisons of tenprints, palm prints, face, and iris
• Perform verifications, blind verifications, and appropriate comparison checks, as directed and appropriate.
• Develop and document training objectives, and train multinational personnel on tenprint, face and iris examinations.
• Develop, document, and maintain training plans
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, setup, and conduct facilitation activities with host organization personnel and attending organizations personnel.
• Ensure agenda, attendees’ list, minutes, and resulting action items are documented for the record.
• Review and resolve instances where biometric system cannot determine a definitive result.
• Receive and process biometric files/images and associated data for search of biometric system(s)
• Provide instruction on collection and submission of Live Scan Biometrics
• Collection with the ability to perform a variety of highly technical procedures in the collection, processing, preservation, analysis and reporting of Live Scan Biometrics.
• Provide SME support in Live Scan Biometrics.
• Collect, Interpret and analyze Biometric Match Reports.
• Prepare documentation to present Live Scan Biometric results.
• Present results of Live Scan Biometrics.
• Operate Live Scan systems.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:


**Active SECRET Security Clearance Required

Bachelor’s degree and 4 years’ experience in Biometrics as an examiner or collection kit Subject Matter Expert. An additional 5 years' experience may substitute five additional years of experience for a Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum three years’ experience in Biometrics
Minimum three years’ experience entering and querying data within the DoD Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS) and the DoJ Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS)
Preparing and presenting the results of Live Scan Biometrics verbally as well as in written form
Operating a wide range of commercial and military Live Scan systems with latent fingerprint and known print collection and processing
Strong research, analytical and writing skills; exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Able to read, write, speak to large or small audiences, speak clearly to instruct, and evaluate and counsel students in the subtle and difficult concepts of the subject matter
Able to review, refine, update and comment on lesson plans, write personal lesson outlines in support of existing Programs of Instruction and lesson plans, create training materials (handouts, PowerPoint slides, outlines, study sheets, etc.) in support of lesson plans, outlines and develop realistic training scenarios to replicate real-world operations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an extremely fast-paced asymmetric environment with rapidly changing work assignments and priorities

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with being deployed in a combat or combat advisor role
Experience at a US Army or other US Military Combat Training Center
Highly desirable that the Biometric Instructor have a minimum of three years’ experience with the Cross match Mobile Operations Biometrics Software (MOBS)

Skills:
Intermediate level competency in PhotoShop and Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is a necessity. Meet physical demands including general office duties/functions in combat like environment. Customer- and detail-oriented in addition to possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with good decision-making abilities.
