Job Description
The Bodyguard Supervisor is responsible for the execution of protective security (bodyguard) operations for the U.S. Ambassador/Chief of Mission, and other designated or visiting U.S. government officials as directed. The incumbent plans and conducts security surveys, monitors budget, and provides supervisory oversight of personal protective services personnel attached to the Bodyguard (BG) unit. Serving within any capacity of the BG Unit, this position provides close protection and site advance services to the U.S. Chief of Mission (COM) to U.S. Embassy Singapore and protect the designated official from harm and embarrassment.

Job Requirements
Completion of high school or secondary school is required.
Minimum four (4) years of experience as a commercial bodyguard, civilian, or host government police or military including at least one (1) year as a supervisor is required.
A Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) certificate in Security Operations and a valid Security Officer (SO) license or the ability to obtain a SO license issued by the Singapore Police Force (SPF), Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) is required.
Must have a valid Singapore issued Class 3 driver’s license. Must be able to obtain Singapore issued Class 4 driver’s license within 6-12 months from date of employment.
Good working knowledge in English Reading/Writing/Speaking is required
Good working computer skills are required.
Must be able to work variable shifts and on a 24-hour on-call schedule.
Must hold a valid passport and be able to travel out of Singapore for training as needed.
