Job Summary
Amentum has an opening for an Security Supervisor in Kuwait.
Purpose:
Provide direction and support to the Security Leads and Security guards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Supervises a professional team encompassing a wide range of functions within the discipline:
a) Assists in establishing hiring boards to interview candidates for open positions
b) Evaluates staff, comparing objectives and achievements in staff assessments
c) Coaches employees in their professional career development and process improvements
d) Issues disciplinary or corrective actions when needed
e) Recommends termination or contract non-renewal when appropriate
f) Responsible for completing performance evaluations as required
• Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries
• Responsible for day-to-day operation of department
• Plans work schedules, sequence of operations, and distribution of work; designates workers and assigns work; explains work requirements, methods and procedures; and assists with resolving problems
• Ensures all posts are manned as stated on the duty roster and security guards are manning their post per established SOPs, WIs, and the PWS. Ensures all security guards remain “fit for duty’’
• Responds and reports to alarms, suspicious activities, and violators in accordance with establish procedures and policy
• Maintains alert notification and recall rosters
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or higher education is preferred, but not required
Experience:
• 3-5 years of civilian and/or military security/law enforcement experience required
• 1-2 years prior supervisory experience required
