The senior G4S role in Iraq, accountable for all in country strategic objectives. To own and be responsible for developing and then maintaining the specific G4S SSI strategy in order to increase, build and develop contracts of work. Maintaining and strengthening relationships as well as increasing new business lines in a competitive and burgeoning economy.
Responsible for all in country client portfolios and communication with the wider RM and G4S business, maintaining the balance between client, contract obligations and company interests.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
Develop and execute a strategy to win, deliver and grow the SSI business.
Responsible for all Profit and Loss of all business activity in Iraq
Lead the in country G4S management team and all operations
Lead the management of business processes within Iraq to ensure optimal performance
Conduct structured liaison with Governmental authorities, International Agencies, existing and potential clients in order to develop and secure business opportunity
Provide strategic communication and best practice leadership to all personnel within the SSI business
Ensure reporting integrity and the maintenance of G4S Company standards and Values
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Experience of managing multiple senior customers in extended sales and business development portfolio with a strong track record of designing and leading successful country business development and sales strategy
A degree or professional level of qualification in relevant business specific / Commercial disciplines.
Extensive senior management experience in the commercial and security industry.
Expert knowledge of the high specialisation security industry (customers and competition) and a comprehensive portfolio of delivery in complex threat environments, particularly Iraq (essential)
In-depth understanding of the competition in this business sector (essential)
Prior large P&L accountability (essential)
Evidence of successful client relationship management in a service related sector (essential)
Track record of business operations and increasing revenues against target (essential)
Large-scale programme and project management experience (essential)
Experience of working in a hostile and low infrastructure environment, ideally in the Oil/Gas or security industry
IT Literacy is essential.
