JOB DESCRIPTION :

The post is based in Bamako, with possible travel to the sites of Sikasso, Mopti, Tombouctou, Gao, (following the safety rules defined internally). The key interfaces are the Director of countries, the operational manager, the manager of the technical unit, which comprises the 4 technical advisers, the manager finance, the HR manager, the logistics manager, the co-Ordinators Sites/Operational, the Project Managers, the Cell Security.

The Responsible for Humanitarian Access and Security in Mali their role is to help to ensure at any time the security and safety of staff HI's mission, ensuring that risk analysis, officers, safe, tools and protocols are already in place, as well as overseeing their implementation correctly and efficiently. The secondary objective is to develop the capacity for analysis, dialogue, and negotiation to HI so that people can fully access humanitarian aid. This position is under direct supervision of the country Director.

EXPECTED PROFILE :

Experiences
• Experience in safety evaluation, skills analysis and planning
• Experience in the development of the safe and secure management
• A good oral and written expression is essential
• Experience in working with INGOS as well as with teams of people to knowledge more or less advanced management and security planning
• Good computer skills (information retrieval, software), including the use of different communications tools, PCs, and mapping software
• In-depth knowledge of the region and the context (a plus)
• Compliance with the code of conduct of the Red Cross and NGOS
• The vision of HI, its mandate, its values and its strategy
• Humanitarian principles
• Ecological principles

Skills

CONDITIONS :

Employee :
Salary from 2757€ gross/month depending on experience transferable
Perdiem : 518 € net/month
Compensation "hardship" : 250€ net/month
Insurance: health, pension, retirement, repatriation
Paid leave : 25 days per year
R&R : 1 day per month
Housing : supported by HI
