Need not be FTO Certified
Must have a working local number (company housing numbers do not count)
 
Requirement for Deputy Safety Manager / Safety Officer (Camp Buehring):

Must have valid Kuwait Driver License (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Must be in an SGT position
Maintain and hold a Security Clearance
Must be able to obtain and successfully pass ASG-KU's Environmental, Electrical, Fire, and Facility Maintenance classes.
Successfully pass the established Triple Canopy's Field Safety Representative course
Have knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1960

Job Description:

Ensuring that all safety records are complete and filled properly
Assisting the Manager/Senior Safety Manger in exploiting and removing all hazards in the immediate area of all Triple Canopy employees.
Enforce ASG-KU Safety Policies
Enforce Triple Canopy Safety Policies, and any additional duties given to them by their supervisor.
Provides the First Report of Injury and Spot Report while leading the investigation of all incidents and injuries.
Responsible for accident prevention to the same extent they are responsible for production, service, and mission accomplishment.
Monitors the removal of physical hazards and training of employees on safety policies, procedures, and regulations. S/he verifies compliance with health and safety regulations and ensures all necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. The Safety Officer manages the participation in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, conducts inspections and internal assessments with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures.
Utilize regulatory agencies resources and other external entities on behalf of Triple Canopy Inc.
Provide guidance and technical assistance to managers, department heads, supervisors, and employees in identifying, evaluating, and correcting safety and health hazards.
