Travel Risk Coordinator , United Arab Emirates

The Travel Risk Coordinator will assist with the implementation of the client's Travel Risk Management “Journey Ready” program within the Middle East and Africa region. The Coordinator provides pre-travel briefs, arranges secure ground transportation, and responds to security and/or medical situations.The role collaborates with the client's Corporate Travel department and corporate security stakeholders to increase awareness of the travel risk management program and positively influence traveller behaviour.

The Essential Functions Include:
Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
Deliver travel risk management (TRM) team support including pre-travel briefs, arrangement of secure ground transportation, and response to routine medical and security incidents.
Attend travel fairs within the region to communicate the benefits of the client's TRM program to traveling employees.
Deliver regional travel risk awareness sessions.
Collaborate with regional TRM Regional Manager and apply their guidance and mentorship towards all work developed and completed.
Assist with ISOS on medical assistance cases.
Maintain close coordination and communication with Corporate Travel, Global Intel Unit, and other client corporate security assets in region.
Assist with the development and communication of Outreach and Engagement initiatives.
Collaborate with the client's Corporate Travel group and security stakeholders to increase awareness of the Travel Risk Management (TRM) program and positively influence traveler behavior.
Assist in sourcing, development, and dissemination of internal materials that further develop the TRM brand inside the company.
Participate in relevant regional security forums and conduct benchmarking with other corporate travel risk management programs.
Assist the Travel Risk Manager with travel risk management execution and training/e-learning program, including but not limited to;
Recommend content of briefings on the program and present to relevant stakeholders.
Assist in the selection of existing (off-the shelf) solutions and development of new e-learning content to increase travel risk awareness for destinations with varied risk profiles.
Assist with the Process Mapping Metrics including but not limited to;
Collaborate in the identification of key TRM value streams, processes, documentation and team strategy influence.
Document cases and analyze data including medical and security assistance, ground transportation coordination and crisis management response to identify important trends in travel risk exposure.
All other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Hiring Standards
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

Must have a Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, which may include drug testing and/or background investigation.
Must meet the country's age requirement.
Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., email, cell phone).
Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).
Must have the legal right to work in the United Arab Emirates.
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in international relations, political science, intel/security studies with five years of work experience in travel risk management, security and/or intelligence.

Competencies
Travel risk management, security and/or intelligence experience.
Bi-lingual skills; English and Arabic, preferred.
Knowledge of security issues, transportation systems, travel tracking and booking tools and operational risks related international corporations.
Able to translate security and geopolitical risks into insights for business travel.
Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
Experience living and working overseas, preferred.
Serve as an effective and positive team member.
Computer skills; Microsoft Office and TRM software/platforms.
