To support our Tournaments & Events Division, FIFA is looking to recruit a service-oriented and resourceful Safety & Security Manager.
Your duties
* Implementing of FIFA's Security strategic concepts for all FIFA Tournaments & Events based on new trends, tools and expectations
* Working in close collaboration with all relevant departments and divisions within FIFA. This includes ensuring that the appropriate conditions are provided for relevant FIFA stakeholders, stadium/venue owners, host associations, LOC's, local authorities and third-party entities
* Continuously reviewing and making recommendations to improve the requirements and overseeing and integrating the security strategy plans in order to ensure the requirements of all relevant stakeholders are aligned
* Being the key point of reference for the Director Security Tournaments & Events on all Security matters and representative on different occasions
* Collaborating with internal and external partners, sharing responsibility with the other divisions to optimise the overall result and proactively find compromises, efficiency measures and synergies with other departments/divisions
* Developing a continuous risk management strategy for all Tournaments and Events and conducting a continuous market analysis in the field of safety and security technology
Our requirements
* University degree in law or police/ military education, or other security related education
* Proven track record of managing complex international security projects, preferably at international sports events
* Profound knowledge of security structures and responsibilities (public and private authorities)
* At least five years of work experience in Sports competitions (preferably in Football)
* Fluent in English, any other FIFA language (German, Spanish or French) is an advantage
* Identification with FIFA values
* Independent and competent communicator
