Here’s where you come in:
As Strategic Security Analyst, you will deliver top-notch security and threat analysis within a small highly skilled team to assist complex field operations and manage information collection and monitoring to maintain continuous global situational and strategic awareness. You will also play a key part in providing dedicated analytical support for visits, special events and security activities on the ground; keeping travelling staff informed of global security risks through alerts and advisories; and mapping operational and strategic security risks globally.
Requirements include:
Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Risk Management, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), International Relations, Emergency Management or other related discipline.
At least 5 years work experience in professional security / intelligence analysis arena in either the humanitarian sector or other related professional field.
Sound knowledge of information management (collection, collation, analysis & dissemination).
Must be able to coordinate work and interface efficiently and effectively with remote locations.
Strong administrative skills, with effectiveness in developing tasks and managing to achieve target dates.
Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Effective in written and verbal communication in English.
The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time and includes occasional travel to high risk locations at minimal notice.
