Job Description
Provide maritime operational subject matter expertise, classroom, and simulation training laboratory instruction in support of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces specifically the Commanding Officer and Tactical Wing Commander of the Naval Tactical Team Trainer facility in KSA. Specific duties include:
Curriculum review and structuring IAW NAVEDTRA series ensuring quality assurance, accuracy of course content, and standardization of course content.
Align curriculum performance standards with maritime tactical and operational scenarios.
Maritime tactical and operational scenario design experience.
Maritime tactical and operational scenario development experience.
Coordinate, manage, and direct all designed scenarios in a simulation laboratory
environment as directed in support of specific instruction on naval underway tactical operational performance.
Responsible for coordinating activities to provide general military subject matter expertise in current naval science topics to include naval operations, navigation, ship handling, rules of the road and related professional and maritime topics of interest in support of the Naval Tactical Team Trainer.
Provide specific subject matter expertise in the execution of naval warfare tactics in Anti-Air Warfare, Anti-Surface Warfare, Anti-Submarine Warfare, and Expeditionary Warfare areas. Providing entry level, mid-level, and advanced level tactical execution in single and multiple warfare areas simultaneously.
Provide classroom and simulator instruction to all levels of the Naval combat information center enlisted reatings, junior, and mid-grade Naval officers in afloat Naval operations.
Experience and Skills
US Navy experience:
Naval Officer (O3-O4) with at least 7 years’ operational at-sea experience as TAO, SWC, ASTAC, ASW Officer, ASUW Officer, BWO or equivalent job assignments.
Duty on an operational staff or Command-at-Sea is highly desired
Education:
Bachelor's Degree and up to 7 years practical experience in the US Navy with Surface Operations.
Personal Skills:
Requires limited to no supervisor to meet deadlines. Works equally well alone or with a team.
Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
Experience working in a focused, dynamic, fast-paced team environment with accountable deadlines.
Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills
No clearance is required.

Desirable skills or experience:
US Navy Surface Warfare Officer qualification.
