JOB INTRODUCTION:
The Movements Officer (MO) is responsible for the security movements
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
The Movements Officer (MO) is responsible for the security movements including:
determine the movement and visitor requirements of the client and the project staff
produce and ensure a high-standard of data logging entry into the Embassy Movement Sheet
perform the role of Liaison Officer at the Australian Embassy Kabul in the Movements Centre
Brief and de-brief Operations and DFAT RSO, as required by Project management.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
The MO must have:
at least two (2) years experience operating in high risk environments
previous military or law enforcement experience of five (5) years, with an excellent record of conduct. Must not have a criminal record and must not have been dishonourably discharged from service or convicted under the Defence Force Disciplinary Act (1982) (or equivalent) or terminated from employment
experience with risk management including risk management planning and qualitative risk analysis and
excellent communication skills, with experience in multiple levels of communication between various levels of management, internal and external.
Desirable
previous experience working in a diplomatic environment
previous in-country experience in a similar capacity.
