Open to all Force Protection Officers (FPOs) who hold a Secret -- Final/Interim Clearance
Personnel performing direct supervisory duties over FPOs under this contract must be qualified as an FPO. Supervisors must have a minimum of two years' experience in security,
law enforcement administration, or operations experience in the Armed Forces, civilian police, or commercial security agencies within the past five years from the date of hire.
Must have a working cell phone with a local number (company housing numbers do not count)

A candidate must meet the following prerequisites prior to being considered for promotion:
Possess a current Interim or Final DoD Secret Clearance
Meet the minimum requirements for experience stipulated in the current version of the KBOSSS PWS
Weapons Qualifications Report. All Force Protection Officers shall be qualified (by standards set in the Department of the Army Weapons Qualification Standard or as approved by the ASG-KU Commander) with his/her assigned individual weapon (rifle and pistol) and/or other weapons required for use while on duty or in response situations, (e.g., crew served weapons) no less than semi-annually.

- Understanding the purpose and duties of security officers.
- Post orders.
- Thorough understanding of general and special orders and other provisions of the contract.
- Badge identification system.
- Employee badges, temporary badges, and vehicle pass procedures.
- Safeguarding sensitive equipment.
- The protection and transportation of sensitive equipment.
- Security officer authority to apprehend, detain, and search.
- Basic firefighting, barriers, and sprinkler systems, use of fire alarm system, and fire extinguishers.
- Elementary first aid.
- Writing clear concise reports using military time and day-month-year relation.
- Security officer orientation, to include the use of technological equipment for security enhancement.
- Rules for the Use of Force, ASG-KU.
- Weapons proficiency/training and use of force.
- The use of technological equipment.
- Road test to demonstrate driving proficiency.
- Individual Nuclear/Biological/Chemical (NBC) defense.
- Basic environmental hazard mitigation.
- Radio procedures.
- Methods of detection of pilferage, sabotage, espionage, and other criminal activities.
- Bomb threats.
- Search methods, plans, and evacuation of buildings.
- Disaster preparedness.
- Civil disturbance and riot control.
- Protection of personnel and property.
- Contingency plans.
- Response to hostile situations, tactical response, and terrorist activities.
- Interpersonal communication skills.
- Successfully completed a driver-training program to include a road test and a written evaluation on Host Nation driving rules and requirements.
