Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-WGI (The Wexford Group International) Logistics Advisor, you will advise on logistics, property management and training support in support of US AFRICOM. You will recommend and support actions to build, maintain, and enhance AFRICOM’s logistics strategy to improve logistical infrastructure and networks. Your efforts will enable a rapid pivot from steady-state environment to contingency response operations.

More About the Role:


You will provide support to missions and operations within Somalia. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with AFRICOM component commands and other strategic and operational partners to identify and document courses of actions in order to develop the logistics strategy, mitigate the gaps and seams to logistically set the theater, and increase logistics capability throughout the AFRICOM AOR.

You may develop logistic-focused assessments that detail and analyze current logistics capabilities, logistics challenges, and risks affecting the AFRICOM AOR, and planned future logistics capabilities.

Your responsibilities may include reviewing and documenting component lessons learned from operational movements and exercises and from information gathered through working groups, boards, conferences, etc.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Must possess a current Secret clearance.

Bachelors degree and three years of experience, or associates degree and seven years of experience, or nine years of relevant work experience.

15 years of logistics staff experience at the brigade level or higher including 5 years of joint, service, or COCOM level.

3 years of experience supporting actions in the AFRICOM AOR.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Masters degree and over 10 years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree and 18 years of relevant experience, or 22 years of relevant work experience.

Deployment experience with the US Military or Department of State.
