We are excited to be working with this world-renowned industry leader. As Head of Security for their luxury, high-tech location in London, you will ensure the highest level of security. As subject matter expert you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and ensuring the safety and security of people and premises.
Responsibilities include:
- Proactively managing risk, reviewing processes, policies and systems to mitigate risk.
- The first point of contact and expert for all security related matters.
- Overall responsibility for Physical Security, Access Control, CCTV and other relevant systems.
- Regularly assess ever changing risks and put in place processes and policies to mitigate these risks.
- Travel Security.
- Security inductions and awareness training.
- Works in collaboration with the 3rd party security provider, monitoring performance and conducting tender reviews.
- Makes decisions, seeks resolutions and understands the impact of those decisions.
- Builds and maintains positive working relationship with key external partners including law enforcement, emergency services, local authorities etc.
- Business continuity management.
- Crisis management planning and coordination.
- Management of special events including VIP visits.
- Effective budget management
- Experience of working within a similar role at a senior level.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- The ability to work at a strategic level and able to influence at board level.
- The ability to stay calm under pressure especially in emergency situations.
- Proven experience of managing around the clock security operation.
- Working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Fire Safety Systems and other relevant security systems.
- Good working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
