Main Purpose:Replacement hiring for an approved budgeted role
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Function
Responsible for the security of the facilities, personnel and Company; and report any abnormal situation detected as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols on and around facilities.
Inspect and take information about units, contractors and visitors entering the terminal.
Inspect and verify exit documents for the units exiting the terminal with product loaded.
Checks vehicles and personnel going through the gate to ensure that they are safe and their conduct conforms to safety requirements before allowing them access into the terminal/the estate.
Facilities and personnel protection.
Avoid illegal and abnormal abduction by outsiders and PUMA staff, of any material, equipment or other property of PUMA Energy.
Comply with company requirements and systems relating to SAPS, HSEC & Quality and other company policies.
Experience
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Security Guard and patrol
Skills
Basic and high school graduate.
Competencies
Weapons handling and protection
Basic knowledge of industrial safety
Techniques to detect weapons, explosives, etc.
Key Relationships and Department Overview:
In depth networking with local authority and key government relations.
In depth security operations understanding and key functions
Excellent liaison skills and good personal relations skills
In depth Investigative understanding on HUMINT and CYBINT
Excellent investigative report writing skills
