Position Summary
Trained and certified to Provost Marshall standards on traffic accident investigation, use of speed detection devices, use of alcohol sensor and measurement devices, and all other devices obtained for use in the course of their duties.
Position Responsibilities
Shall conduct mobile security of ASG-KU installations.
Shall respond to accidents and reported incidents, protect crime scenes, and detain and transport suspects and victims
Shall provide general patrol and escort services inside of the perimeter
Shall assist in taking sworn statements , but the statements must be sworn to before a Military Police Officer
Shall handle all traffic accidents as directed by the PMO.
Shall respond within 5 minutes of notification to any incident reported to the MP Desk or patrol.
Shall provide coordination, planning, and direction of all traffic operations.
Essential Skills and Experience
US Citizen
Must have a valid US Driver's License and US Tourist Passport
Honorable discharge from the military (if applicable)
Force Protection experience
Be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to pass a physical exam, meet US Army height and weight and pass a US Army physical test
Possess a certificate of successful completion of a basic or advanced security guard training and certification program administered or recognized by the Government or professional organizations
Must have no felony or domestic violence conviction. Record of recent recurring misdemeanors may adversely impact candidate's suitability rating
Be either a valid state or federally certified peace/police officer who has completed a state certified or federally recognized (e.g., FLETC) Law Enforcement Academy, and who has served a minimum of 2 years as a peace/police officer, or is a graduate of a U.S. Military branch qualifying Law Enforcement/Police School having served for a minimum of 3 years active duty, 8 years Reserves/National Guard
LESOs shall not have been separated from a sworn civilian or military law enforcement position for more than 2 years
Employment with Triple Canopy is contingent upon a favorable background check to include no serious financial problems in the past seven years
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Able to perform internal security guard services, at any potential internal security posting, for 12 hours, while donning all required personal protective gear.
