Job Introduction:
Take ownership of any ESS technical issues and actively drive to a satisfactory conclusion.
Consult with ESS Technical Team, clients, manufacturers and local suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Work closely with the G4S SSI SMT with all ESS updates.
● Identify future requirements (pipeline) and plan ahead accordingly.
● ESS Equipment Repairs, Care and management.
● Training and Development of ESS Technical Team.
● Management of ESS Suppliers / Sub-contractors.
● Produce daily and weekly technical written updates to the client / G4S SSI SMT
● Responsible for all ESS Procurement Processes.
● Responsible for ESS Compliance with GoI procedures.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
The ESS Technical Project Manager is responsible for the day to day management, support, maintenance, and delivery of a critical ESS projects for a growing portfolio within Iraq. The ESS Technical Project Manager role and responsibilities will be as follows:
Management of ESS technical team in support of clients and systems.
Management, maintenance and support of all Client ESS systems based around ITIL v3 Methodology.
Project Management of all potential and deliverable ESS projects.
Able to coordinate all aspects of project management and delivery from initiation to implementation and UAT of projects.
Must have the technical skills and experience to provide support and guidance to the ESS Technical Team, while engaging effectively with the client.
Requires tact and diplomacy to manage sometimes complex relationships.
Should be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and complexity, able to resolve issues without escalation.
Should be capable of briefing clearly to personnel from System User to Director level.
Ability to grow business in line with budget targets.
Operational management of ESS technical team, G4S and sub-contractors.
Project Management to a Prince 2 methodology.
Development of ESS business continuity processes and procedures.
Development of ESS disaster recovery processes and procedures.
Budget planning, control and procurement support to the Business Unit.
Producing written and verbal briefs and formal reports.
Identifying suitable candidates for recruitment and ensuring posts are filled with adequately trained and experienced staff.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Essential
5-10 Years’ Experience in Project Management (Prince2 or Equivalent).
5-10 Years’ Experience in Maintenance Management (ITILv3).
Lenel Access Control Trained (Onguard 2010 - 2013).
CCTV Trained (Milestone, Tyco, Axis, Pelco).
5-10 Years’ Experience in Oil & Gas or PetroChemical industry.
5-10 Years’ Experience in ICT and Networks (CCNA, MCSE)
Engineering Background with Degree or equivalent experience.
Experience in technical positions within Access Control / CCTV
Experience delivering large projects / support packages.
Preferable
Experience in Support Team Management.
Experience in working with Screening Systems.
Experience working with PAVA Systems.
Experience working with Environmental Control Systems.
Experience working in adverse environments.
Ability to work as a leader of a team, or individually.
Supplier / Sub-contractor managements.
Knowledge of O&G PTW and HSE standards.
