Associate Consultant, Security Services

Location: Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean

We seek a highly motivated, detail oriented, business-minded professional with creativity, initiative, teamwork and project management skills to support our security services practice, managing executive protection task delivery, embedded consultants and contractors and other risk management solutions for our clients.

This role will support project generation, management and administration for the delivery of protection services, training and embedded consulting for  clients in Mexico, Central
America and the Caribbean The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual, initially taking on smaller day-to-day tasks before transitioning to direct fee-earning on more complex tasks, as well as resource management.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Lead and service multiple assignments as full case manager responsible for entire project cycle in protective services.
Maintain and nurture a vibrant network of partners/sub-contractors across Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.
Work closely with consultants in the Americas and globally on the delivery of client tasks.
Commercially manage subcontractors.
Attend meetings with clients and potential clients.
Write proposals and reports for clients and potential clients.
Maintain and expand organizations’ embedded security consultant database.
Lead on recruitment drives for embedded consultants, engaging in the full service cycle with clients – from job descriptions to candidate identification to interviews and onboarding.
Manage administrative actions of the services business including contractor invoices, expenses and internal management systems.
Undertake domestic and international travel for client engagements, sometimes at short notice
Ensure that client invoices are accurate, complete and timely.

Knowledge and experience

Essential

Excellent English-language writing skills
Strong interpersonal communications and client facing skills
Basic financial literacy and understanding of business processes
Very strong administrative skill set
Proven track record of administrative excellence

Preferred

Experience in Mexico as a private security professional
Previous experience in providing commercial executive protection management or similar services
Recruitment experience
PSP certification
Security training course experience or qualifications

Qualifications and skills

Bachelor’s degree
Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
Creative and analytical problem-solving skills
Able to multitask and balance competing requirements
Microsoft Office suite (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
