Our client, an Oil and Gas Operating Company are looking for a Mozambican National Security Advisor to be based in Palma, Mozambique. The position will be offered with a long-term contract, 28 day on / 28 day off rotation and negotiable daily rate.
Role Overview:
As Security Advisor you'll be reporting to the Security Operations Manager and provides security support to facilities and projects or support to key Global Security processes
Responsibilities:
Develop security procedures and implementation plans for technical security projects
Develop and lead security specific training
Support the company's Emergency response team
Create and drive proactive solutions with ethics, diversity and reputation of the company in mind
Help coordinate daily escort team tasks
Liaison with military for daily tasks
Liaise with senior and field commanders in the execution of the MOU
Experience:
College level education or equivalent
Extensive experience in Security, ideally have been former Mozambican Military - preferably officer
Experience gained within the Mozambican Police or Security forces will be beneficial
Knowledge of criminal investigation
Advanced knowledge of criminal intelligence/national intelligence
Must have the right to work in Mozambique as no visa sponsorship will be offered
