Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is currently recruiting for a Security Operations Manager on a 4x4 rotational basis for the ExxonMobil project located in Iraq.
The contract is for 1 year, renewable annually based on business needs.
Security manager for EMIL Production Organization
Coordinate and supervise all activities of the EMIL Security group
Mentoring / knowledge transfer to WQ1 FOD BOC Security national staff
Oversee the implementation of EM security programs for DS6 Camp and Journey Management for EMIL personnel
Chair the WQ1 Security Working Group
Lead Contractor Safety Workshops
Lead contract and bid tender and approval process
Act as Security member on Incident Management Team
Develop / provide security awareness training
Oversee incident investigation management
Prepare the Security Department budget and steward through the WP&B process with Basra Oil Company management
Steward EMIL Security group’s Management of Change
Oversight of security risk management
Skills / Qualifications
Qualifications
Military or Police background
5 years of experience in the oil industry
Skills
Background in Security Management Systems
Leadership/supervisor skills
Prefer knowledge of ExxonMobil corporate Recommended Practices and OIMS guidelines
Ability to present security information to management and employees
Interaction with all levels of operations and management
Initiative / planning / organization skills
Problem solving / analytical skills
Fluency in English.
Systems
Must be adept in the use MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and Internet and Email.
