This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and innovative global industry leader. As Global Investigations Manager, you will conduct complex security investigations together with managing external investigative service providers.This role will also support and advise on compliance related investigations,focusing on root cause analysis and quantifying risk, then communicating those findings to management that will help them to initiate systems, process, and procedural change to address the identified areas of concern.
Other responsibilities include:
Gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses and employees, documenting in case
management system, complying with regulatory requirements, internal policies and identifying control and procedural issues.
Investigative field work for crimes against the organisation including organised crime, theft, extorsion etc.
Recommending improvements/remediation related to compliance based on investigation findings.
Fraud investigations
Identifying system or process failings to ensure that they are corrected.
Ensures proper mitigation efforts are taken promptly on any/all significant employee matters.
Recognising opportunities for addressing fraud issues, risks and exposures.
Maintaining strong liaison and working relationships with appropriate law enforcement and regulatory agencies, including international enforcement agencies.
Intelligence gathering that will support ongoing investigations or risks.
The Person:
The ideal candidate would be Degree educated with a strong background in a broad area of investigations or law enforcement.
Excellent communication and influencing skills together with a high standard of integrity and the ability to conduce sensitive and highly confidential investigations.
Experience of managing international investigations also required.
You must also have the experience and ability to conduct investigations from remote locations and experience in managing investigators that work remotely.
Must be flexible, as international travel is regular.
High proficiency in English.
Industry recognised certifications such as CFE, PCI, etc. are preferred
