NCA Emergency Preparedness Roster provides NCA with the needed human resources to ensure that qualified and trained personnel are readily available to deploy to NCA’s humanitarian operations. Our Emergency Preparedness Roster provides support capacity to NCA field offices as well as partners within the ACT alliance and/or UN agencies. Members of the Emergency Roster sign a 2-year Letter of Intent with NCA. This Letter of Intent states that within a two-year period, roster members will be available to be deployed when called upon.
We are now seeking experienced Security Advisors to join our Emergency Preparedness Roster. We are looking for personnel that can be available for short to medium length missions to our County Offices and/or humanitarian responses in order to carry out risk assessments, support staff training
and/or support crisis management. As our new roster member, you are educated and have relevant work experience within security management. Ideally, you have managed the security of an operational NGO in a high-risk environment (not necessarily as a security advisor but also as area/programme manager or similar) and are familiar with NGO security mitigation and best practices.
