Corporate Safety and Security Specialist - Mozambique

Location: Maputo Mozambique

We are recruiting a Corporate Safety and Security Specialist for his Client

Support and manage journey management requirements as a member of the Global localized Tactical Operations Centre (TOC) and support the Regional Operations Centre (ROC).
Execute and assist with the development of Global safety and security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure on-going maintenance of security.
Partake in and manage physical protection responsibilities, including but not limited to; asset protection, workplace violence prevention, access control, video surveillance and more.
Maintain and establish good communications with the regional teams, other corporate departments
and client personnel.
Assist with the development of post orders, incident response planning, emergency action planning and crisis management planning in line with Corporate requirements.
Document and assist with the management of incidents to include security breaches and make recommendations concerning incidents.
Provide weekly reports to the line manager as required.

Commercial Support
Supervise CSSS L1 and L2 team members and assist project managers (PM) to ensure appropriate safety and security support to programs and projects.
Assist with the development of commercial proposals for clients in line with local business development requirements.
Deliver basic security reviews and audits for clients in line with standards.
Support projects through the active supervision of security guards on site, ensuring they are fulfilling duties in accordance with contract requirements and standards (where applicable).
Provide weekly reports to CM/RRM as required.

Experience
A CSSS L3 is required to have a minimum of either;
2-3 years’ experience within as a CSSS L2.
4-6 years’ experience in a safety and security related field, i.e., corporate security, military, police, etc

Specialist Knowledge Required
A CSSS L3 must have verbal and written English skills, specifically; Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Listening and Speaking Level 2 (Limited Working Proficiency) - http://www.govtilr.org/Skills/ILRscale2.htm

Fluent in Portuguese.
Additional Language Skills, Especially Chinese, Will Be Advantageous.
Must have basic IT skills and demonstrate ability to use software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Must have basic project management understanding and experience
