Site & Security Program Manager , Afghanistan

Position Summary:

The Site & Security Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of the aerial port operations center functions.  The SM shall have full authority to act for the Contractor on all matters relating to daily operation of this operations center.

This position shall incorporate necessary BAF security measures for physical (PL4 Controlled Area), personnel, operational (OPSEC), communication (COMSEC) and information (INFOCON) system security to ensure the integrity and safety of the Aerial Port facilities and equipment.
Shall be responsible for identifying and notifying the COR or 455 ELRS representative of any security deficiencies in the facilities or surrounding fencing.
Shall comply with all security rules, regulations and laws IAW BAF security measures.

Responsible for meeting Contractor’s work requirements, including scheduling of personnel, work supervision, and quality control.
The SM shall attend base operations, logistics, deployment, exercise, safety, and force protection meetings necessary to complete the requirements.

The SM shall ensure all personnel are adequately trained in Aerial Port Operations.

The SM shall ensure that personnel assigned to all tasks have the requisite knowledge and skills to meet minimum performance requirements and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Skills:

Excellent communication, analytical, project management and supervisory skills.

Must be skilled with Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Able and willing to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements

Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.

All Contractor personnel are required to have current training for Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER), and Safe Transportation of Hazardous Materials.

Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U. S. Passport and U. S. or Local Driver’s License.

Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to deployment.

   
Required Experience:

Managerial experience to include: performance management of employees, training, completing required reports, and excellent customer satisfaction results.
Eight (8) years' experience in Aerial Port Operations.
