About You:
DDG is now seeking to hire Deminer (Multiple positions) to conduct safe, methodical and efficient clearance tasks under the close supervision of the Team Leader in eastern Ukraine.
Main responsibilities:
To pass the standard DDG Deminer training course.
Conduct of safe demining drills in strict accordance to standard operating procedures.
Care of personal equipment including detector, personal protective equipment (PPE), demining tools and uniform.
Assistance with regular camp duties such as loading / unloading vehicles, organizing and checking equipment.
Participating in regular refresher training or further training if selected for promotion.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role we expect you to have Experience working outdoors in manual labour.
Highly desirable but not necessary:
Military experience
Basic knowledge of landmines and explosive ordnance.
Personnel Specification:
Excellent discipline with the ability to follow direct instructions.
Currently living in Donetsk Oblast.
Aged between 18 – 45 years.
Male or Female (females strongly encouraged to apply).
Minimum education - Secondary school level
Physically fit and willing to engage in physically-demanding manual labour.
Willingness to work away from home for extended periods.
No criminal record. (Candidates will be subject to background checks).
Although advantageous, previous military experience is not required.
All training relevant to the safe conduct of the job will be provided by DDG.
