Job Summary
AECOM has an exciting opportunity in Afghanistan on the
Eagle contract for a
Security OPS and Force Protection Analyst ..POC for Physical Security matters with DCMA and COR during monthly and other requested audits Responsible for the maintenance and update of CDRL 030: Physical Security Plan Ensures Physical security inspection reports are completed as required and enforces installation physical security requirements in the 401st footprint throughout theater Reviews and recommends changes to the Physical Security Plan, Force Protection Plan, and Base Defense Plan Must be subject matter expert on PWS 10.0 and fully understand contractor support and restrictions associated with the PWS Assist with Threat Assessments, Analytical Strategy products, evacuation plans and planning, security and intelligence products as deemed necessary by all stakeholders Key control actions and related documents and reports; Ensure accuracy and integrity of the key control program IAW AR 190-11 Paragraph 5 and 6 Conducts Physical Security
Inspections IAW AR 191-11 and AR-190-13 Reviews all ACF safes and security containers and ensures DA Form 701, 702, and 703 are completed Ensure compliance with physical security restrictions; Monthly inspections with established checklist Prepares and instructs physical security awareness communications to disseminate to the workforce for
education and situational awareness in all aspects of physical security to include compliance with postings in the guard posts, limited and/or restricted access areas are clearly and properly marked, weapons andweapons parts are stored IAW AR 190-11, PII and classified documents are being stored and protected property.Conducts physical security surveys and risk analysis IAW AR 190-13 (Army Physical Security Program), FM3-19.30 (Physical Security) and other regulatory requirements in functional areas Assist the Director in developing 401st and community crime prevention programs to present to the 401st S-
This includes lighting surveys, traffic reviews, base access compliance, gender specific areas associated with billeting and latrines, SHARP programs, and recommendations on locations that could be considered threat areas for possible high crime.Travels to outlying FOBs to conduct surveys, PS inspections, and key control as necessary.Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the AC FIRST Safety Policies and Procedures.Instills a safety first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of the AC FIRST Quality Management System.8) Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Active Secret / Tier 3
Secret Clearance required to access classified information, attend classified briefings/meetings, access the
SIPR network (i.e. review intel summaries, submit CCIRs and prepare Physical Security Assessments),
make SIPR DSN calls, monitor SASC CCTV/ID alarm systems, respond to SASC alarms and maintain JPAS
access to verify employee clearance (i.e. badging, AA&E access and monthly clearance audits).
Valid Driver’s license required
Must be Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certified or obtained within 90 days after arrival in country.Education:
A high school diploma or GED is required
AA in Criminal Justice or similar, preferred
Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be
substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college
and vice versa.
Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in security, law enforcement, military related-operations or similar field
required
At least five (5) years serving in the US Military or as a government contractor required
Strong knowledge of military yards, warehouses, and maintenance shops as well as the corresponding
Physical Security procedures are required.
Work experience may be substituted for educational requirements and/or educational achievements may be
substituted for years of experience. Example: Two (2) years of experience is equivalent to (2) years of college
and vice versa.
Must be able to obtain CENTRIX, SIPER, AKPS, and NIPR Accounts
Demonstrated experience in performing inspections, surveys, and audits in US Government contracting
Understanding of security operations and compliance to government requirements
Knowledge of US Government contracting procedures.
Must have effective computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Programs.
Must complete a Combat Life Saving PQS course within 30 days after start date, or as soon as the h) USG
course becomes available
The ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work and communicate with others
effectively.
Must have the ability to speak and write effectively and to evaluate written and oral reports.
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates, senior
management, and government officials.
Must be able to work well under pressure and coordinate several activities at a time.
Must be able to work with foreign national personnel.
Must have knowledge in Operations.
High-level organizational and planning skills so that workflow is managed efficiently and accurately are
required.
Must have the English language speaking ability to speak the language with sufficient structural accuracy
and vocabulary to participate effectively in most formal and informal conversations on practical, social, and
professional topics. Must be able to read standard newspaper items addressed to the general reader, routine
correspondence, reports, and technical materials in the individual's special field.
