SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Security Specialist for our current contract located on Camp Taji in Iraq.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
• Assist in managing the activities and performance of the Site’s contracted security provider
• Assist in managing the activities, integration and performance of the other Emergency Services Departments in planning and executing support emergencies and contingencies on the Site resulting from threat attacks
• Assist in managing the activities and performance of the screening, vetting and access badging operations for the Site
• Assist in badging protocols, screening and processes
• Assist in manage the security functions and staff in the Site Operations Center
• Develops and maintains policy and process documents for safety and health programs
• Provide support to the Security Department in the area of personnel security
• Assist employees and candidates with completion of required security forms (SF86, SF85p, briefings, etc.)
• Participate in the threat assessment of Camp Taji and coordinate with tenant units on threat reporting
• When required, provide threat assessment briefings to Clients and tenant units
• Prepare security data statistics for metric reports
• Engage in implementation of select parts of the company’s security program
• Identify potential problems or areas for improvement and provides solutions
• Perform duties of Deputy Security Manager in his/her absence
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• High School diploma required
• Candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• US citizenship
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Knowledge and understanding of industrial security and risk mitigation
• Experience in conducting vulnerability assessments
• Experience in working with personal security detail or movement security highly desired
• Independent thinking and exercise of good judgment and discretion
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Ability to adjust quickly and adapt to changing priorities
• Ability to work under direct supervision and as a member of a team
• Discreet handling of confidential information
• Professional demeanor
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
• Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
• Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
• Be able to travel between MSG-I sites with little or no notice
