We are currently seeking to hire a Regional Security Manager in our Milan office, whose main role will be to drive travel security business development support to the International SOS and Control Risks distribution channels in order to drive customer satisfaction and profitable growth in Italy.
Key Responsibilities:
The Security Manager is a versatile role providing management level support to the Regional Security Centre team as part of a 24-7 regional security operations capability.
Contribution to Business Development : support the growth of the security services business in Italy,
through a focus on quality of service and support to International SOS and Control Risks sales and marketing efforts.
Client Support, Consulting & Training : manage the delivery of Personal Travel Security Awareness Training (PTSAT) sessions to clients in Italian personally, or approved external consultants, ensure appropriate Security Services resourcing to the Assistance Centre Experience.
Leadership & Management: effectively represent Security Services in Southern Europe management team, contribute to the maintenance of succession plans for Security Services EMEA roles through professional and personal networks.
Qualifications
Desirable Work Experience
Extensive experience working in the security industry
Good knowledge of the political and security landscape of EMEA.
Experience in security operations management: in military, government (officer or senior NCO), or private sector roles;
Business development related experience
Training and/ or consultancy delivery experience
Crisis management and/ or business resilience experience
International work experience
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security or international relations studies
Post-graduate degree (or relevant professional training) in a field related to security or international relations studies is an advantage
Required Languages
Native Italian, Excellent English (spoken and written)
French language proficiency an advantage
