Location: Bangladesh
Reporting to Head of Administration, the Safety and Security Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of security guidelines and procedures in order to ensure the security of all Plan staff, program, property and image. This will involve, but is not limited to: promoting a culture of safety and security; security incident reporting; security guard oversight; monitoring the security situation in Bangladesh; security management plan; maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other mandatory core Security documentation; coordinate effective security processes and procedures that aim to further improve Plan’s overall security management in Bangladesh; strengthen the security management structure of Plan in Bangladesh and improve the overall preventive security management structure and systems.
The ideal candidate should have five years’ experience in a similar wide-ranging role; past field experience in humanitarian security work, preferably in the areas where Plan operates. At least two years’ work experience in an NGO; past experience working with the military or any of the investigative disciplines. Experience in conducting participatory risk assessments and preparing situational context analysis; experience in working with child-focused development organization will be an advantage.

Location: Bangladesh Country Office, Dhaka with extensive travel to Cox’s Bazar as well as other locations.
Duration of contract: 18 months with possible extension
Salary: Gross salary with other admissible benefits like PF and Gratuity as per organizational policy.
