Hiring Criteria
Degree educated and/or equivalent level of experience
Must have a minimum of five years military or police intelligence experience
Must have a minimum of two years commercial intelligence experience
Must have a minimum of two years’ experience working in hostile environments
Very desirable to have Libya experience and understand the current political and security situation countrywide
Must be comfortable working directly to the client as a standalone operator
Must be comfortable and capable using IT equipment
Must be fully conversant with MS Office and associated programs
Written and verbal grammar must be to an excellent standard
Must be confident, and capable of creating and delivering presentations to senior clients
Must be able to efficiently research and interrogate information systems and present findings in both verbal and written formats.
Job Duties
In the role of risk analyst you will be required to produce written, and verbal, reports of an extremely high standard that will be delivered to an educated and informed client base. You will identify gaps in information systems that the client requires, and subsequently derive methods of fulfilling them. You will be expected to maintain databases that support the client from a risk management perspective.
You will plot incidents and activity country-wide onto software systems, conduct area research for specific tasking’s, deliver accurate and timely threat assessments, collect, collate, analyse and disseminate pertinent security and politically related information countrywide. You will deliver verbal presentations to senior clients, deliver high quality written responses to client taskings and requests for information, produce accurate, detailed and timely reports on specific events of note and assist GW HQ as required.
Site Security Surveys and Vulnerability Studies (SSVS) are key, and you may be called upon to conduct extensive surveys of sites, providing the appropriate reports in both written and verbal formats as dictated by the client.
Whilst the Security Services Coordinator has managerial responsibility for the SRA they work directly to the Client Security Manager. Duties are as follows:
Provide timely security specific information to the client Security Management Team and the Security Operations Control Centre.
Provide a general overview of the country and regional threat state. Provide an AREA OF OPERATIONS specific up-to-date business security risk picture including mission specific threats and the effective risk mitigation measures required to counter those threats. Eni has business interests across large parts of Libya.
Provide business security risk support to operations as required. Provide business security risk and threat briefings to the client Security Management Team, SI personnel and other service providers as required by the client.
Provide daily, weekly and monthly business security risk reports, with regards to security incident occurrence including subject matter expert support and analysis provided by the Regional Management Team.
Work alongside the client Security Manager in order to encourage timely business security risk information gathering and efficient operational utilization.
Work closely with the eni appointed staff relevant to the assessment of threat, such as the Security Superintendent.
Any other duties as may reasonably be expected of the role.

GardaWorld offers a competitive daily rate (Contractor will only be paid whilst on-duty – no payment made for Off-duty)

Leave Rotation
6 weeks on, 6 weeks off, however rotations may be increased/reduced for operational reasons. It is understood that there must always be 1 x expat SRA in Libya at any given time, and that this takes priority. Travel days must be factored into rotation plans, and tour lengths will be slightly flexible to take this into account
Travel Pay
Contractors are not entitled to pay while travelling
Visa Requirements
Costs incurred related to stamping the visa into the passport at whichever embassy is operationally most efficient for the company, will be shouldered and charged back to the contractors.
Package
GardaWorld will provide the Independent Contractor with appropriate accommodation, insurance, flights and life support while on duty.
Flight Package
GardaWorld will provide an economy class return ticket per rotation to the project location from a hub airport as close as reasonably practicable to the Contractor’s declared home address.
The Contractor will be asked to declare their preferences for a primary, secondary and tertiary hub airport from the GardaWorld hub list at the commencement of their engagement. Where possible and commercially acceptable, GardaWorld will look to book travel to and from one of the preferred hubs.
The Contractor will be responsible for any travel arrangements between the hub airport and their home address.
