Job Description
Minimal Risk requires UK Government Security Checked (SC) cleared personnel to undertake Security Officer duties in a non hostile country in Eastern Asia on a temporary basis.
The duties will be to ensure the Security of the British Consulate whilst they undertake a new fit out of the building. You would be working alone on the floorplate and also be responsible for monitoring temporary CCTV. It is anticipated that a roster system will be utilised to ensure cover and provide for rest days during the deployment.
Terms and Conditions
Deployment date: late April 2019.
Duration of task: 13 weeks approximately.
Shifts: 0100 to 0800 hrs.
Rate: £130.00 per day plus £15.00 per day subsistence whilst in country. This is on a self employed basis.
Travel day: half day rate.
Flights will be provided at Economy Class.
Accommodation will be provided close to the Consulate.
Due to the security and specialist nature of this task, we would require the right person to be able to cover this deployment from start to finish.
Skills/Behaviours:
The right person will be reliable, responsible and be able to demonstrate effective judgement.
Must have very good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work as part of a small team.
Security Clearances will be confirmed before any deployment is made. Copies of Clearance Certificates will be required prior to any interview taking place. You need to have worked in a SC cleared environment within the last 12 months for your clearance to be valid based on our client's requirements.
Interviews will be with Minimal Risk Recruitment Team, initially via a video link, but if a second interview is needed, this will be in person at their offices in Hereford.

Qualifications
Must have a current in date Security Cleared (SC) Certificate or Developed Vetting (DV).
You must hold an in date SIA Licence.
You must be a UK Citizen in order to apply for this position.
