Job Description:
An opportunity to work in an international project based in Somalia, making a real difference to lives of the native individuals who have suffered for years in a hostile environment.
Working alongside national organisations and military forces educating and developing skills in order to provide a long term solution to daily hazards both from current activity through to historic issues
ROLE RESPONSIBILITY:
Deployed to each regional hub but required to travel to all other locations as required.
Hold an Advanced IEDD Operator and IMAS EOD Level 3 from an internationally recognised training establishment.
Individuals with 5 years Police Bomb Squad/CSI/Forensics experience are exempt the EOD Level 3 requirement but must hold an Advanced IEDD Operator qualification.
EOD / IEDD experience within 5 years of this RFP and have a minimum of 8 years cumulative experience in EOD/IEDD.
Fluent in English written and spoken, proven either through native speaker or otherwise certified.
Priority will be given to those fluent in English and French written and spoken, proven either through native speaker or otherwise certified.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Experienced in Explosive Ordnance management. Commercial knowledge of the International Ordnance Management world.
Military or police experience with formal certified qualifications
Clear Criminal Record
Verifiable work history for 10 years
