About Your Job::
As a Manager Security Risk & Threat you will be involved in developing the Qatar Airways Group Security Risk & Threat policy, ensuring that the department strategy is in line with Security Department’s objectives.

You will be conducting Security Risk assessments, surveys and audits of specified QR locations, facilities, conduct security risk assessments of proposed new QR stations, perform geopolitical intelligence analysis and security research on behalf of QR Group Security and attend to chartered, scheduled and VIP flight operations requests.

You would assist in intelligence gathering, initiatives and liaise with other airlines, law enforcement agencies and security professionals across the globe.

In your role you will be responsible for managing and conducting security assessments of Qatar Airways airports and airline operations.


You will monitor developing threats throughout the Qatar Airways network and neighboring countries, including global issues that may affect operations and you will maintain a Threats Register.

Your role will apply world’s best practice to identifying threats, implementing solutions, and maintain awareness of official threat information within Qatar Airways Group.

You will plan and conduct high risk security operations as and when required, investigate serious security incidents, where they occur from time to time across the global network, and provide necessary specialist security training as required.

About You::
You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Security Management, or similar education, preferably with additional qualifications in Aviation Security.

Ideally you be an Airline / Aviation Security expert in this field with a minimum of 8 year’s experience in a similar role, having experienced the conduct of security risk and threat assessments, geopolitical and intelligence analysis.

You will have worked with Security Intelligence, Police, Military Police, preferably with previous Intelligence Analyst training.

You have strong understanding of airline operations and their security requirements and are able to work in hostile environments as and when required. You have managerial skills, ability to delegate work, strong mentoring / coaching skills, and ability to train / develop subordinate's skills.
