Maritime Operations Manager reporting to the Managing Director Salama Fikira Nigeria Ltd
Job Description:
To oversee and manage all maritime security related tasks for Salama Fikira Nigeria Limited in West Africa.
Key Accountabilities:
The Maritime Ops Manager is the principle point of contact for all Salama Fikira Maritime Operations
The Martime Ops Manager will be required to;
Provide 24/7 support to men deployed on Task
Monitor deployed personnel and GSF on 24/7 Basis
To ensure all vessels are uploaded onto our vessel tracking platform which Salama Fikira support with security vessels or have security teams embarked
To speak with the deployed Team Leaders of each Team on a daily basis
Immediately report any issue, no-compliance, incident or injury to the Principle Responsible Executive
To handle and log daily reports from the Team Leader and forward reports to the client
Principle Responsible Executive and Duty Response.
Monitor security alerts in relation to client vessels & security teams and ensure they are correctly advised
Advise ‘Duty Responses of any incident to ensure it can be properly managed and supported as required.
Monitor all activity on task
React as required for all events/incidents
Make arrangements with port agent and/or relevant authorities to ensure smooth operations until completion of task
Ensure the disembarkation process is known and communicated to TL immediately to the Authorities and respective agencies.
They are to be the point of contact for Team Members to provide feedback to advise of any vice of any observations, problems, non-conformities, impending or observed violations, suggestions for improvements or comments. These feedback forms are logged and reported to the Principle Responsible Executive through the CARP forum and then reported to the Management Board
The principle point of contact when arranging medical evacuations from client vessel.
