Job Description

Armed Close Protection Officer (CPO)/Security Driver within a team of armed EU national personnel charged with the protection of EUDEL representatives to the West Bank & Gaza Strip, located within Tel Aviv.

Deployment date: to be in country by 21st September 2018
Rotations are 9 weeks on 3 weeks off.
CPOs escort EU delegates to Gaza and to locations in the West Bank. They are frequently employed as drivers for EU Delegates rather than as CPOs as most areas are considered as safe.
Page Protection Services will provide accommodation and a daily allowance for meals. An allowance is provided for rotational flights.
Applicants must be from the European Union member states.

The following experience must be proven:
5 years military experience.
1 year commercial experience
Proven experience in international volatile environments of at least 4 years
Proven experience as a CPO in an international or foreign environment, diplomatic mission or representations of international organisations attested by reference letters from current and/or former employers
Proven experience in working in a Close Protection Team of a minimum of 15 persons
Professional weapons qualification and proven knowledge of weapons (pistols and assault rifles) as well as operational procedures for weapons
Proven knowledge of Rules of Engagement, Standard and Specific Operating Procedures linked to the use of weapons


Candidates must undertake a full medical and psychological test - successful candidates at interview will be provided with the necessary medical form to complete.


Candidates MUST be under 182cm tall due to vehicle restrictions.


Candidates must be fluent in English to at least level C2 (both writing and speaking) and be computer literate in Word and Excel.





Accommodation is provided.

3. Close Protection Certificate showing dates of course undertaken

6. Weapons qualification/certificate (within last 12 months)
7. Military or Police Service record
8. Criminal Record Check (within 3 months)
9. Passport

Training courses for both B6 armoured vehicles and weapons can be undertaken in locations in both Europe and the UK.
These certificates are required by the EU vetting process and all documentation is only submitted if the requirements needed above are met.

Qualifications

SIA CP License (UK Applicants) or equivalent Qualifications/Experience.
CP course completed (Certificate from course provider must be made available for verification)
Previous Military/Police experience of at least 5 years - essential
Commercial PSD experience
Must have a recent weapons competency certificate/qualification - essential
Operational Experience within an international volatile environment of at least 4 years
Full EU national driving licence with Category C/C1/ qualifications
Armoured Vehicles (B6) driving competency/training certificate
European Union member state citizen
Knowledge of Arabic and or Hebrew will be an asset
Knowledge of the Country's security environment will be an asset
