Security Manager

Core Purpose:
Manage and ensure the safety and security of the patrons and employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all SAFETY activities in the Bingo Hall
Manage and authorise the process of entrance and departure of employees
Oversee the process of operating detecting devices and the prevention of prohibited items into restricted areas
Instructs and give order to action against all suspicious behaviour
Manages and assigned security officer to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of all entrances and exits of the company
Responsible for Security equipment
Responsible for non-adherence and misconduct of security related rules and regulations
Provide support to the stuff and improve staff effectiveness by building employee-manager relationship
Liaise with the external security stakeholders at all time regarding risk and security measures
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12 or similar qualification
must have the relevant security qualifications, PSIRA Grade B
Experience in a Security environment
Must be resilient and physically strong
Ability to communicate effectively
Must have been in a Management position
